Let's Start With
Pool Preparation
STEP 1: GET YOUR HAIR DAMP
To ensure even distribution and full absorption of your leave-in product, lightly dampen your extensions first. You can do this by misting your hair with a spray bottle of water or taking a quick shower to get them slightly wet.
STEP 2: SPRAY YOUR LEAVE-IN CONDITIONER THROUGHOUT YOUR HAIR
For pool days, we highly recommend GK Leave-In Conditioning Spray. It keeps your hair moisturized and tangle-free, even after hours in the sun. Be sure to apply it evenly throughout your hair for the best results.
STEP 3: PUT YOUR HAIR IN AN EFFORTLESS DAMAGE-FREE STYLE
This can be as easy as one french braid or some cute scuba braids. This will ensure your extensions are staying matte-free.
Post Pool Care
STEP 1: BRUSH OUT YOUR HAIR
This is the most important step after you get out of the water. Make sure you are brushing in between your rows of extensions.
STEP 2: APPLY A WAVE SPRAY
Planning to lounge by the pool a bit longer and want to maintain that effortless wave texture? A light spritz of R+Co Sail Soft Wave Spray will keep your waves looking perfect!
STEP 3: SHAMPOO HAIR
Shampooing after a swim is essential, especially if you have blonde or dry hair. To keep your extensions hydrated, we suggest using R+Co Atlantis Moisturizing Shampoo. (Not always necessary if you swam in the Ocean)
